Leopard caught – At our Home Compound !!!
A leopard seems to have caught a prey, and while carrying it half alive, unfortunately ended up falling into a small but well managed well.!
The time of incidence may be around 3;30 AM Nov 25 2019. (Calculated later on)
On 25th evening, Mrs. Winnie, on her usual way, preparing to wash clothes and by natural curiosity to know the current water level in the well, peeped in., And to her surprise, this leopard was floating alive, looks afraid by sight, yet alarmingly dangerous situation.
OMG!, She calls me informing the situation, an immediate arrangement was made with forest department to resque the leopard. Winnie takes a snap of it while it was inside the well, and it was quiet. However, when forest guard approaches near the well, and tries to peep in, it roars. So he did not think of taking a picture before capturing it.
The resque operation went on well by the grace of God. we did not inform anyone else at the time of operation, as it was instructed to us, so that no adverse interference may be caused by the public may affect the operation. (If any in case)
Leopard was successfully captured and taken away to a safe place to leave into the forest.
